About the Photographer
Hello! My name is John. I’m an American with Greek and Bolivian roots who loves to travel, drink easy red wine, dance, and travel with my little family. We currently live in Florida, USA but we are in the process of relocating to Greece in 2026 and excited to connect with locals and build new community there.
Hobbies & Interests
As of late, my obsession has been disco music. I can’t get enough of anything Giorgio Moroder produced between 1977-1980.
I enjoy running and turning my brain off to enjoy something cathartic yet physical. I try to squeeze in a few runs a week!
My passion for cooking has increased so much since the pandemic and I’m grateful for it. We try and cook most nights each week. I try my best to recreate traditional Greek recipes from the family.
I love fashion and style. I’m no expert but I love to throw old and new things together and add subtle but unique pieces to an outfit.
I nerd out over culture and language. I can read articles and content online for hours on linguistic family groups and the evolution of languages.
And finally, the little boy in me will always love airplanes - specifically commercial jets. I still rock an old collection of classic Schabak airplane models. My guilty pleasure is the now retired McDonnell Douglas MD-11. What a beauty.
